Four years ago I went through one of the most difficult periods of my life.

I met a guy in Orlando two weeks ago who has 17,000 physical fitness degrees.

One minute we were exchanging pleasantries, the next we were running ALL the stairs in the hotel after an hour long workout.

The dude kicked my butt! So much for my Florida vacation.

Six days ago I was traveling back to Ohio from PA. I was in PA to file charges against my former property manager for embezzling money.
As I was driving on icy roads outside Erie, PA I was asking why this stuff happens.
Why do people need to steal?
Why can't I find one honest person who appreciates a good paying job, especially in the current economy?

Then my car went out of control and I was 3 ft from never seeing my family again.

Last month I was surfing Facebook to see if I could find some old friends from 'yester-year.'

I found a guy named Jeb Murphy who I used to work with in West Palm Beach 20 years ago.

I moved to West Palm in 1988 and lived in the ghetto on a mattress I retrieved from the curb. I soon became a stock broker where Jeb and I met. I haven't spoken to him since the day I left Florida in February of 1990.

I found Jeb living the 'Saturday Lifestyle' in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We met as two neophytes in the corporate world 20 years ago. Today we are husbands and fathers living life on our terms.

So my friend called me yesterday excited about his annual performance review his boss conducted with him.

In 1993 I attended a greyhound dog race in Houston, TX.
All the dogs were placed in a cage at the starting line and were drooling over a stuffed rabbit tied to a car in front of them.
